He is the main antagonist of the Dark Empire arc, and made his debut by appearing after the defeat of Demigra at the hands of the Time Patrollers, though he was in an extremely weakened state, thus making his main objective gathering the Dark Dragon Balls in order to restore his youth.
Mechikabura (メチカブラ, Mechikabura), also known as the Dark King, is a major villain who appears in Super Dragon Ball Heroes, as well as the leader of the Demon Gods and the Dark Empire.
